Video: Kobbie Mainoo Gives Manchester United Epic Performance Against Leeds United 2:0 Win

UK born Ghanaian kid, Kobbie Mainoo who got introduced to the Manchester United senior team last season has garnered more accolades for himself today after a spectacular performance against Leeds United in their preseason clash with Manchester United.

The Ghanaian kid who’s eligible to play for the Black stars of Ghana won the heart of many fans in the stadium after his involvement in Manchester United’s 2:0 win.

Erik Teng Hag targeting him as a prospect for the team has generated enough attention on the side of the player where fans have had their eye on.

He made his first team debut for United on the 10th of January 2023, starting in a 3–0 EFL Cup win over Charlton Athletic.

The young starlet made his Premier League debut on the 19th of February 2023, coming on as a substitute in a 3–0 win against Leicester, and he also made his FA Cup debut against Reading.

He scored for Manchester United against Cadiz in a winter friendly match, after being on the pitch only two minutes.

Mainoo was born on the 19th of April 2005 in Stockport, Greater Manchester. His nationality is English. 

Mainoo started his youth career at Cheadle & Gatley Junior Football Club, before joining the Red Devils at the age of nine.

Mainoo has represented England at under-17, to under-19. However, he is also eligible to represent Ghana if he would like in the future.
