UG SRC Pays A Courtesy Visit To Level 200 Student Suffering From Kidney Failure

The SRC of the University of Ghana paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Gilbert Kofie, a level 200, sociology and information studies student who is unfortunately suffering from a kidney failure. He is currently receiving treatment at the Korle Bu teaching hospital, having undergone the preparatory examinations necessary for a transplant.

In his residence today, 2nd December, 2020 at Mamprobi, The team donated a few items to him and his family and apprised them of the efforts being made to solicit for funds for the transplant. “The SRC is committed to personally explore all means necessary in securing the funds for our colleague’s treatment”.

UGSRC delegates led by H.E Kwame Amo Ntow Fianko, Mr Eyram Kwamla Feyi, UGSRC Treasurer, Mr Kwesi Essuman Pocco, Legal Advisor and Miss Jemima Ayettey Yeboah, Welfare Committee Head. Others include Mr Kofi George and reps from Health Factor foundation. The entire family of Mr Gilbert were grateful to the UGSRC and University management and asked for their prayers to support their ward.
