Meet Ghana’s Social Media Journalist poised To Be A Worldwide Pro journalist – Tabitha Asangsia

Familiarized as Yaa Bitha, Meet Asangsia Tabitha , A young Ghanaian Broadcast journalist whose passion as a presenter comes from a life-long obsession with the media.

Tabitha went viral on twitter after she posted a video of herself presenting news where she sounded like Ghana’s female Broadcast journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah.

From young age, She has always tried to
Present to crowds, or be in front of a camera.
Honing in my skills as a presenter, host and emcee through hobbies like reading, movies. Tabitha had also been a journalist from Senior High school where she constantly explored various disciplines to broaden her own journalistic pursuits.

My current areas of interest are Sports, Entertainment, Governance and social issues.
Now as I look forward in my career, I would like to build and manage larger team and continue advancing as a Broadcast Journalist, speaker and YouTuber.”


Having the passion and zeal in mentoring and leading a team, Her longer-term goals are to learn variety of areas within the field of journalism.

But in the end, the simple act of standing in front of a camera brings me endless satisfaction.

Tabitha had her elementary school at VICOLIS, a private school in Accra
then proceeded to her first choice school, Ghana Senior High, Koforidua.

In Senior High, She was the Public Speaking Coordinator for her school. She later joined the Drama and Creative Writer’s Club after comically mocked as Dramatic.

Having won the best student journalist is the university, The Jayee past student is poised to take journalism to another level.
