KayJnr is a Ghanaian Social media Influencer with much recognition on Twitter. Professionally known as Gyimah Tawiah Elvis, He’s a graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he studied Natural Resource Management.
HOW DID YOU START TWITTER AND YOUR INFLUENCING JOURNEY?
“Having created my Twitter account in 2010. I wasn’t familiar with the DO’S and DON’TS making me dormant for a very long time.
Then I surfaced again in the year 2018. Taking it slowly but with fully charged.
I then started my the journey. However, You know for Twitter, gaining followers and getting engagement is a whole big deal!
So I decided to tweet about things I had great knowledge about. Some of which are; sports, entertainment, lifestyle, politics, jokes and many others.
This really caught the attention of Twitter folks.
Twitter had me experiencing a whole world of banters, trolls, football arguments and many more.
It however pushed me closer to my Influencing journey.
Well, I began to get deals and promos when I bagged 20K followers and so, I also started doing trends to put myself out there.
Following these events, I then created my first trend group called the Orange Trendz and it really had massive Influence on Twitter but so sad, I dissolved it due to certain reasons.
After this, I continued to stay active, build my account and also observed how everything goes on Twitter”
CHALLENGES YOU FACE AS AN INFLUENCER
“The road to influencing really didn’t take it easy on me at all. Gradually, I bagged 50K followers and that was the turning point for me. This actually motivated me to keep up the good work I was doing then, and also stay positive while Influencing.
Matters arose here and there but they never deterred me from pushing for the best for myself and others on Twitter. As for the challenges, they came but never too difficult to overcome since God was with me through it all.
BRANDS YOU’VE WORKED WITH
In this journey, I have had the privilege to work with several brands and artists all on Twitter.
Some of these brands are; Bangbet, 1XBet, Isel Media, AirtelTigo, Pepsodent, Melbet, Betika, Wealth Secrets and Bettico, Compu Ghana, Zenith Bank, and UBA Ghana just to mention a few.
While on the side of our Ghanaian artists, I have worked with Gyakie, Black Sheriff, Mr Drew, Sista Afia, Mensa Music, Wendy Shay and many others.
Also, for the fact that verification on Twitter is important, I also had the privilege to work with certain verified accounts. Some of which include Juliet Bawuah, Nana Aba Anamoah, Bridget Too, Fentuo Tahiti and others. All these accounts also follow me back.
I really adore sports and a very stunt fan for that matter.
Promoting local sports together with women’s football.
I am so proud of myself and thankful to God for how far he has brought me in this journey.
