GHANA MUSIC IS NOT ONLY IN ACCRA – TWITTER INFLUENCER SAYS
Twitter influencer Okyere Kwame Tawiah popularly known on social media as Oktranking debunk the accession of musicians coming to Accra to blow.
Most people are of the notion that until a musician move to Accra or comes to the capital to do massive promotion, it will be difficult for the artiste to get proper radio rotational play or to get a mega hit song.
Twitter influencer and music promoter Oktranking has debunk this perception, as he believe the music industry is not only in Accra. He said;
“I don’t think the Ghana Music industry is only in Accra as they make it look like. We are in a digital age and you can make it anywhere via the internet. The likes of Black Sherif, Yaw Tog, Kweku Flick, Amerado and the Asaaka boys made it in Kumasi without coming to Accra”.
Oktranking has through his page promoted a lot of musicians and their music, including musicians like Mr. Eazi, King Promise, Sarkodie , Efya Nokturnal, Gyakie, Kidi,Black Sherif, Wendy Shay and a lot of up and coming artistes.
The social media influencer further stated that, the industry is big that musicians from different regions can also blow and get their breakthrough without necessarily coming to Accra but did not refute the impact of coming to Accra to do promotion for your song.
