Ghana Makes History As Ten (10) Young Players Move To Leading European Teams

Football in Ghana has been applauded worldwide especially in Europe as players from Ghana gets the stand in European teams.

According to statistics from the January Window transfer in Europe, young Ghanaian players from the motherland was recorded most in new teams at Europe aside senior players who were signed to teams.

Below are ten(10) young players who made it to European football ;

Samson Mohammed (pictured) joined Portuguese side Sporting Braga from Accra-based Division 2 side EuroAfrica.


Samuel Obeng (18) joins Italian side Empoli from EuroAfrica.

Obeng is already in Italy after passing his medicals.

Emmanuel Mensah has signed for Romanian giants CFR Cluj from Ghana Division 1 side Young Apostles FC


Italian giants AC Milan have acquired Ghanaian youngster Kingsford Boakye Yiadom from Accra side MSK Zilina.

The 18-year-old can play as an auxiliary striker and on the wings. He has impressed Paolo Maldini and Ignazio Abate.



Highly-rated Kwadwo Ackah has been signed by Italian side US Sassuolo from Ghana lower side EurAfrica


KPANDO Hearts of Lions attacking midfielder Razak Abdullah has joined Romanian side CFR Cluj.


Youngster Joseph Aidoo signed a deal to join Belgium side Westerlo from Zilina FC in Ghana


Gaddo Abubakar has moved to Romanian side CFR Cluj from Accra side CFR Cluj. A player who has been scouted by several top sides in Europe has settled with Cluj
