Coach Ibrahim Tanko has announced his 26-man squad for the 2023 CAF U23 Championship qualifying match against Algeria.
The Black Meteors are set to depart to Algeria on Wednesday evening for the first leg tie which will be played at 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba.
According to recent news, US Cremonese forward ,Felix Afena-Gyan (20) turned down an invitation to join the Ghana U23 team but it’s obvious to debunk such circulating news since his name has appeared in the final list.
Afena Gyan is expected to join Issahaku Fatawu and Afriyie Barnieh who were also dropped from the senior team (Black stars) soon
