Angélique Kidjo and 2Baba are the most awarded African Artistes

Angélique Kidjo is Bernice singer and songwriter born on July 14,1960. Women from the music fraternity in Africa always hail her as a goddess due to her contributions and influence in world of entertainment and art. On this note, she has been awarded severally both local and international which makes her one of the most award artistes in Africa. She has close to one hundred awards which includes;

four (4) Grammys, MOBO awards,Medaille De Vermel De la Ville De Paris (France) and Antonio Carlos Jobine Awards.


2Baba is also seen to be one of the most decorated artist in Africa. He’s a Nigerian songwriter and singer with numerous hit songs like “African Queen”.

He was born on September 18,1975 and officially known as Innocent Ujah Idiba.

He has won several awards and some includes;

-MTV Europe Awards, World Music Awards, Five Headies, KORA awards, and MOBO. He’s also close to one hundred awards.
