Alex Amankwah just qualified for this year’s World Athletics Championships after running 1:44.97 in 800m.
Amankwah made a record of 1:15:88 in 600m at the Penn relays a month ago for himself.
Alex Amankwah is a Ghanaian middle-distance runner specialising in the 800 metres. He attended college and competed in athletics at the University of Alabama, where he set a school record and was a First Team All-American in the indoor 800 metres.
