Accident Victims Support Foundation is an NGO set to bring reliefs to victims of accident in Ghana.
To wholly activate this initiative, The group has decided to outdoor its board members and other related presentation.
Theme for this inauguration is, COMBATING ROAD ACCIDENTS, FOCUSING ON THE LIVING.
However, The group has released a notice pertaining to their missions and visions.
“Report on statistics from the National Road Safety Authority indicate that 10,902 road crahes were recorded from January to August this year. Out of this there were 1,505 deaths and 9,397 injuries.
This year has recorded a lot of fatal accidents, placing many in a dilemma when boarding vehicles. Most Ghanaians are now very much concerned when traveling, considering how dangerous our roads have become and also how reckless some drivers are when driving. They wonder if they will get to their various destinations safely.
Seriously injured survived victims on admission in hospitals also wonder about their fate. What does the future hold for me? How am I going to cope with my present predicament? These are some questions the victims ask themselves whiles recovering.
To what extent are such victims supported? Our Focus is on the survivors.
