Aboa Banku, A Twitter Influencer You Should Know

Aboa Banku as popularly known is officially Richard Nana Kwame Acquah. A graduate journalist from the Ghana Institute of Journalism with a degree in Bachelor of arts in Communication.

A Social media Influencer with higher presence on Twitter, He joined the bird app for fun and absolutely had no idea of social media influencing / brand influencing .

Getting to stay vibrant on the Platform, He created a group (BANKU TWITTER) which made him raised a family where there can engage on each others post.

As a music and sports enhusiast, He participated in banters related to the aforementioned disciplines regardless the source or camp but especially involving Manchester United. These activities on Twitter gave him exposure hence amassing huge followers. With This, He started promoting brands locally and internationally.

Its been a very tough but great journey, from losing my account on the 14th February 2021 of 30K followers, starting afresh to stepping on toes of some friends and very cool tweeps, some relationships I was able to repair some were left unsettled”

According to Richard, perseverance and dedication has been a key in his influencing journey, amidst all banter threats, He recognised the “disasters” and importance related to being a social media Influencer so he has to discard certain misconceptions.

Currently, He serves as a brand influencer for Papa’s Pizza and Boss Baker and among other companies and also brand promoter for D jay, Kweku Flick, Amerado and few more. Ultimately a member of the “AMG STUBBORN ACADEMY” , A group associated with Ghanaian rapper AMG MEDIKAL.

Passionate about helping young Artists, He hosts a twitter space titled #BarsonBars, a battleground for upcoming rappers with a listenership of not less than 400 tweeps every Thursday night.
